From prompting to commanding.
Prompting means asking one model for answers and assembling the rest yourself. Commanding means directing a team of tools, agents and Agent Skills (reusable instructions Claude follows every time) that work on your project while you make the design calls. Claude is the main tool for training and practice, and the method transfers to whichever AI tools you use next.
Over three days you build a reusable AI-assisted design workflow around a common project, spanning research, conceptualisation and technical resolution. You leave with a working setup: a project knowledge environment, a set of reusable Agent Skills, and a method you can repeat on your own projects. The tools will keep changing. The method is the part worth learning now.
This is an in-person course in Singapore. You will meet Tianyu Xu in the room throughout the three days, and June Chow conducts her part of the training through live remote sessions.
Three days, one workflow.
Each day runs 9:00am to 5:00pm, hands-on. The whole course follows one shared project the way a real job runs: research and context, then concept, then technical resolution. That arc is why it takes three days.
Context, Research & Design Problem Solving
The mindset shift from prompting to agentic AI, and using AI safely: choosing tools, protecting data privacy and avoiding AI slop. Setting up a Claude Project as the knowledge environment for your project, and building the first reusable Agent Skills.
Site analysis, contextual research, precedent studies and environmental analysis, leading to design issues, opportunities and design questions, expressed through site and analytical diagrams.
Conceptualisation and Design Development
Developing design concepts from the identified issues: critique, alternative strategies and iterative refinement. Bringing regulatory requirements and compliance checking into design development, alongside environmental strategy.
Visual storytelling through parti diagrams, massing studies, sectional concepts and a coherent design narrative.
Detailing, Construction Knowledge and Design Systems
Moving the design towards technical resolution: materials, assemblies, junctions and constructability across architecture, interior design and landscape. Communicating how the design works through exploded axonometrics, construction and system diagrams.
The closing session covers ChatGPT as an alternative, and how to transfer project context between tools, so you always have a Plan B.

The course is taught by the two co-authors of 50 Claude Use Cases for Architects: an AI educator and a registered architect. Tianyu Xu is in the room as your trainer and facilitator for all three days, and June Chow teaches her sessions live on screen.
Tianyu Xu
Creative AI educator and speaker based in Singapore, and founder of TYAI Pte. Ltd. Before AI, Tianyu spent over a decade in digital marketing across research, analytics, solutions and advertising sales. Today he trains teams to work with AI effectively, with a focus on creativity and storytelling.
He is co-author of 50 Claude Use Cases for Architects and author of Will ChatGPT Take My Job?, with guest lectures at Imperial Business School, York University, Penn GSE and Nagoya University.
June Chow
Ar. June Li Chi Chow 周利芝 is a registered architect and generative-AI practitioner with twenty years of practice behind every workflow she teaches. Principal of JUN Architect, she trains architects and design firms worldwide to use AI as a design partner across research, concept, visualisation, documentation and delivery.
She is co-author of 50 Claude Use Cases for Architects, Adjunct Lecturer at Taylor's University, Visiting Lecturer at the EDNA Joint Institute, China Academy of Art (NACAA), in Hangzhou, and a juror for the Architizer Vision Awards.
